For many years I used this blog to tell my funny parenting stories about raising a boy on my own.
Along the way I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease (the same thyroid disease as Oprah, and yes, we can run companies).
Now that my son is almost out of the house, I thought I'd take you on a humorous journey into the land of thyroid.
Since starting this blog in 2003 I have become known for my inspirational blog project
8 Women Dream.
By day I am considered a professional blogger, freelance writer, author, copywriter, content development authority,
and Internet marketing expert.
Starting January 2012, I will begin sharing my thyroid stories with all the humor you've grown to love.
Come watch me as I show the world that living with an autoimmune disease can be funny and empowering --
because you can't ever give up on yourself.
The posting schedule will be M/F. Really.

I’ve seen a lot of tricked-out lowriders around here, but at least none of them did it to a bicycle.
That bike looks uncomfortable to ride!!
when did snoop dogg get in to bicycles?
cool
(laugh) You should have heard the music – it only played when he peddled. It was 1950s “doowop” music. To see the expressions on the faces of the regular car guys was priceless, my brother included, who was showcasing his vette pictured in the background. Meanwhile Brian loved it and rolled around on the lawn laughing. He asked the guy for a picture, and the guy let him sit on the bike. However, Brian did not want to be photographed sitting on the bike…
(laugh) I am still not over the matching clothes. He also peddled around with that second bike to the right – holding it out with his right arm. We were all trying to figure out if it was his sidecar and he was looking for a date…
Ha! I was trying to figure out who he reminded me of and THAT is perfect. I am still laughing…
