“Wow Brian, tomorrow is the first day of high school.”
“I know.”
“Can I walk you to school?”
“Ha! Mom you’re kidding RIGHT?”
Well … kinda …
Until next time -

So sad;) My nine year old doesn’t even want me to walk her to her class:(
They Grow way to fast!!
Don’t you know it! My son just went three states away to college. The house is too quiet and I am lost. I am driving my husband crazy as he thinks this is the best thing since our son was born. I miss him like crazy and it has only been three weeks. I am already counting the days until he comes home for Christmas break. If I could have moved next to him at his college I would have. My husband just doesn’t understand. I am glad all of you do!
I sent my oldest off on his first day of HS last year. And then I got worried about, tracked him down on my way to work, and drove him the rest of the way. (And then every day for the rest of the year.)
It’s hard to let them go — even when they outweigh you.
My daughter is a senior this year – my baby – and I am having such a hard time with it. I am thinking of going back to college myself to prevent myself from driving her crazy.
lol del I know! And the high school is just three blocks from our home. I can’t believe we are on our last 4 years until he is off doing his own thing. Lordy, where did the time go?
OMG I can so relate to this. My sons run from me when they see me wanting a hug!!!
