Along the way I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease (the same thyroid disease as Oprah, and yes, we can run companies).

Now that my son is almost out of the house, I thought I'd take you on a humorous journey into the land of thyroid.

Since starting this blog in 2003 I have become known for my inspirational blog project 8 Women Dream.

By day I am considered a professional blogger, freelance writer, author, copywriter, content development authority, and Internet marketing expert.

Starting January 2012, I will begin sharing my thyroid stories with all the humor you've grown to love.

Come watch me as I show the world that living with an autoimmune disease can be funny and empowering -- because you can't ever give up on yourself.
