Little Known Ways To Annoy Your Teenager

Mom?”

“Yes?”

“Why do I have to go to this wedding?”

“Because you were invited.  Because it is family.  Because I live for making your life miserable as a teenager.”

“Mom, your plan is working.”

“Thanks son.”

“Anytime.”

Until next time-

C

Is he related to my son? I hear this all the time. These conversations with your son are my favorite.

Hi Catherine! It’s me, that one redhead you talked to so long ago! ;-D Just thought I’d head on over & check out your blog again, now that it’s all moved ~ had to laugh at the convo with your son, I have a 14 yr old & a 15 yr old, and I think they could be twinners with your son ~ We have these sort of conversations all the time!! What can a mother do but pass on her wierdness to her kids? It’s like a rite of passage ~ it MUST be done! It’s like I tell my kids ~ “Well you know what they say, misery loves company!” (evil grin and sly cackle to follow) ;-D

Boys and Men are interesting people. We are an array of things ever changing. We can bemean, nice, cruel, shy, embarassed,or angry. Men are the 8th world wonder at times very complex and odd. However, 80% are not dirtbags and treat women like their our everything. Thats what I think judging from myself.
