Get Rid Of Mom Hanging Around Once And For All

“Oh good God boys, what on earth are you watching?”

“The Decent.”

“I thought you didn’t like scary movies.”

“Since when?”

“Okay, well I can’t watch this – I’m going to read. If you still want me to watch a movie with you, then call me when this is over and you are watching something more calm.”

“Okay Mom.”

(an hour goes by)

“Is the movie over?”

“Yeah. It’s safe. You can come back and sit down.”

“What are you watching now?

“The Shinning.”

Until next time –

Of course! That’s like Jake watching an unrated version of a horror flick and me walking in the room going “turn this off!” and his response “I watched it last week already!”

Whatever! Love the post – H

LOL. I know! I didn’t realize it was a scary movie until all of a sudden one of the women gets eaten by this small person/alien thing that comes out of a cave and begins eating one of the women. Blood goes everywhere and I suddenly realize I need to leave the room!

The shining is a love story, really. I mean, who doesn’t love a good run thru a snow maze and redrum finger puppets? That Jack Nicolson is such a sweetheart!
