Double the Teenagers: Quadruple The Food Bill

Posted by Catherine, the redhead mom blogger on Nov 29, 2009 in Mom Rants and Raves |

“Brian. What did you have at the football game?”

“Uh, let’s see . . . 1 double cheeseburger, 3 hot dogs, 4 hot chocolates, a soda or two, some of George’s nachos . . . I’m kinda hungry now though . . .is there oatmeal?”

“And what did George have?”

“Uh, 1 tri-tip sandwich, 5 hot dogs, 2 hot chocolates, 3 sodas, nachos, a pizza and something else.”

The last time Mrs. Brian’s mom was seen she was wandering the supermarket mumbling something like “I must feed . . . I must feed . . .” and twitching uncontrollably.

Until next time -

Amazing how a teen’s metabolism can burn up so many calories. I used to be able to eat twice as much as I do now, and only weighed half as much.
