Come On Mom: Anything But Broccoli

“What’s that?”

“Brian, just try it.  You used to eat everything when you were a baby . . .”

“Yeah, well . . . then I was stupid when I was a baby.”

“No you weren’t!”

“I ate Play Doe and mud, Mom . . . “‘

Until next time –

Yum – love those mud and play-do pies! The whole aversion to green veges is a challenge. But then Jake freaked me out by eating a brocolli piece out of a stir-fry last week and then proudly announcing “I like broccolli… like this. You know that.”

Apparently I didn’t get that memo! Thanks for the great laugh!

I see that your son don’t like broccoli. Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables! The taste is fantastic! I steamed it for a few minutes, just to soften a bit and preserve almost all vitamins. Or just mix it raw in green smoothie. Thumbs up for broccoli :) Thanks for sharing your story.
