Will My Christmas Be A Flop Like Grandmas Fruitcake

My router problem was supposedly fixed with Comcast on Saturday, only to have my Internet go down two hours after it was fixed.  I am still working to get my computers back up, and hopefully will be back to writing my regular posts by Christmas.  To fill you in on a short list of my life since my last post:

I moved my business office back into my home, so I am still wading through boxes and unpacking.

Brian was in the school play.

He didn’t tell me it was a musical.

I almost passed out when he opened his mouth to sing.

His x-jock Dad suffered heart pains until he saw that Brian’s part was that of school jock.

We went to EVERY performance.

I now hear the songs in my sleep.

My doctor has prescribed sleeping pills.

It doesn’t help.

I still have that Fruit cake.

Brian’s basketball team has successfully lost every game.

We’ve gone to EVERY game.

I’ve started coaching from the sidelines.

I pray that God will someday forgive me for being one of “those” parents.

The cat climbed the Christmas tree.

The dog growls at the Christmas lights.

Brian told me I was Santa.

No one is giving me dark chocolate.

My blow dryer blew up.

I accidentally flushed my cell phone down the toilet (don’t ask).

I still have most of my Christmas gifts left to buy, wrap and label.

I’m out of red wine.

HO HO HO.

Until next time-

C

There you are! It sounds like you have been keeping busy. You’ve got me wondering what the musical was.

No dark chocolate and no red wine? That’s just wrong.

    Hi my favorite Chic girl-
I need to get Flat Sally back to you and she is packed in one of my moving boxes from the office. I am down to the last seven, so I hope to uncover her and get her back to you with a gift to your daughter. Please forgive me for taking so long. My life has been absolutely crazy. Merry Christmas.

    lol Anna-
    The musical is the Castaways.
Oh crap I now hear that song again…

“It’s the Castaways da da da da da the Castaways …We’re the Castaways da da da da da da the Castaways…”

(Catherine has run screaming from the room…)

    Thank you Jon. Merry Christmas.
I almost think two cans and a string would be more effective communication than the troubles I have been having with Comcast…
