Get Rid Of School Projects Once And For All

“Mom, are you around this week?”

“Around?  I am always around, why?”

“I have a project due.”

“Oh, I didn’t tell you?   I’m moving to the Caribbean this week.”

“Not without me – I’ll bring the project.”

The last time Brian’s mom was seen she was running out of town screaming and waving her hands wildly yelling something about school projects.

Until next time -

It depends on the size of the project. The Carribean might not be far enough.

If helping your son with projects is anything like helping my oldest, then the Caribbean is definitely not far enough. She asks for help, then refuses to listen to any advice we give. Kids!

The project involved gluing rice to a piece of cardboard and making a mosaic out of it…

Yeah… maybe I should call for a girlfriend weekend in New Zealand … and we could watch a bunch of 6’3 dark haired, tan rugby players grunt while they tackle each other … and we drink our fruity drinks and smile… that our husbands and\or x-husbands are back at home working on some project with the kid(s) …. gluing little things to even littler things that don’t matter …something many men are all too good at…

Ok …guys don’t kill me but I couldn’t resist at that line …
