How To Get An Angel Whacking

“Mom, why did Aunt Linda have to die?”

“Because she was really sick Bobello.”

“But she wasn’t very old.”

“No, she wasn’t.”

“Do you think she went to Heaven?”

“Oh, absolutely.”

“Do you think she will remember me?”

“Who could ever forget you Brian?”

“I dunno, but will she?”

“No, she loved you dearly and I am sure she will keep a watchful, loving eye on you from heaven.”

“Can she now hear me swear?”

“Sometimes, when I am by myself.”

“Then it isn’t really swearing – if no one hears.”

“Yeah, but can Aunt Linda hear me now?”

“Maybe – think she’ll whack you upside the head with an angel wing out of nowhere if you do?”

“I rather like that.”

“Yeah, but then she should whack you too.”

“I don’t swear –  usually.”

“Mom! You do too.”

“Hmm I guess I need to watch myself.”

“Yeah, or an angel could whack you!”

Until next time-

Tell Brian his Aunt is watching over him and keeping that angel wing on his shoulder. It never hurts to have alittle extra help along the way.
