It’s 8:30 in the morning on the first day without school and a teenager is bright with anticipation over sleeping in and the summer laid out before him . . .
“Brian – I’m leaving for work and you need to get up in case that HR Manager calls you this morning about that job.”
“Why? She won’t call yet. It’s too early.”
Oh, he has so much to learn about life.

For many years I used this blog to tell my funny parenting stories about raising a boy on my own.
